Contract Award for Braintree Police Station – Essex
BSW is pleased to announce a contract award from the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex through the SEC Framework.
The project, valued at approximately £200,000, involved upgrading the existing Plant Room at the Police Station.
The scope of work included:
- Replacing the existing boilers, flues, HWS calorifier, heating pumps, and associated equipment within the boiler house.
- Replacing the existing heat distribution pipework within the boiler house and installing hydraulic separation/PHEX.
- Upgrading and replacing all electrical systems, including cabling, panels, power switches, sensors, lighting (including emergency lighting), fire alarm interlock, smoke/gas detection, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
