This project involved the removal and replacement of three boilers within the rooftop plantroom. The works included installation and setting to work replacement boilers and associated plant, pump replacement works, the replacement of the controls associated with the works and builders and structural works to accommodate the upgrade.
Aviation House is the Civil Aviation Authority’s headquarters adjacent to Gatwick Airport. The works were carried out whilst the building and airport were in full operation. Due to the close proximity of the building to the airport we had to obtain several additional licenses for the crane operations.
